News: Golden Horseshoe Tattoo

Jauary 6  2012:

As of January 10th 2012 Golden Horseshoe will be offering Navel, Nostril and Ear Lobe piercings to those as young as 14. There are many rules in place as far as ID goes. Call the studio for appointments. We have decided to change our ages for these as in the past couple of years there have been too many potential clients coming back in with piercings gone wrong. Or done wtih cheap jewelry. As a result we are willing to allow just these piercings to those under 16 years of age

July      21 2001:

Summer is in full swing. Which means busy time of year for us. As a result we are booking a couple of weeks in advance. Because of this we have had to turn away walk in tattoos. NO MORE. From now until Labour Day every Wednesday will be WALK IN Wednesdays. Meaning no appointments will be booked. You show up and we will get you in or try our best to. Just another way we at Golden Horseshoe are trying to serve our customers better. Thank you

First day of summer. And national aboriginal day. Lets celebrate with new tattoos and piercings

April           1 2011:

Summer is a coming folks. Which means less clothing to cover your skin. So you might as well cover it with some awesome tattoos. As well show off that summer tummy with a new navel piercing.

March        1 2011:

Spring is almost here. Which means busy time of year for us. Rich is booking up quickly so get in while you can. As well we have the Tattoo Ninja James booking appointments. Carrie is in twice a month to work on large scale tattoos. Lets get you booked in asap. And Gord is piercing Tuesday throught Saturday and spring is a perfect time to get poked

February   4 2011:

Gord aka ZILLA is now back piercing full time at the shop. So come get some sweet sweet piercings. Call or email to book in. Rich is looking for some clients to get some fun realistic tattoos to expand his Golden Horseshoe portfolio. As well email or call to inquire about this. This year has been our best so far. Lets keep this up.

January     8 2011 :

The start of 2011 has been awesome for us. New head artist Rich is kicking some butt. Check out his work on here. Or for more photos check out or facebook group. There is going to be some big changes in the new year. Keep checking kids. IT will be huge

Winter is here which means our annual piercing sale. $10 off piercings, but minimums still apply. This is limited time offer so get in while you can

December 6 2010  :

Our search for a new head artist is over. We would like to welcome Rich on board as our new full time head artist. Check out his page to see a sample of his work. He brings to our shop a level of tattooing yet to be seen in this area. Welcome aboard Rich

November 17 2010:

Well folks our 5 year party is coming up. We have Mr. Chris Hall coming to tattoo as well as Rich Grenier. So this should be good times had by all. Finally Petor is no longer working here. We are more than willing to finish any work. 

November 3 2010:

After almost 5 years Cory has decided to leave to go work out west. He is leaving at the end of the month. Not much notice so book in while you can. As a result Petor is going to be moving back up to full time at the end of the month. We are sorry to be losing Cory, but we wish him and his family the best.

As another year comes to an end. I would like to take this chance to thank all of you for supporting our shop. And to all the new friends we made this year. The new year will be filled with tattoo conventions and art shows. So keep checking back for updates. Once again thank you for the wonderful year.

October 27 2009:
Well again this year we won the readers choice awards for tattoo shop, piercing, and best local tattoo artist. As well we just returned from the 1st annual Ottawa Tattoo Convention. Thanks to all. It was a blast. Our next convention will be the Halifax Maritime show. Where Gord, Petor and best local artist Cory will all be working. So book your flights and come check it out

Augst 14 2009:

This year has been pretty busy for us. We have been working tattoo conventions this year. We have already done the Maritime show. Cory won first place for small color on his lovely wife at this show. Then Mykie, Cory and Gord worked the Toronto show called NIX. It was a blast. And now come October Petor and Gord shall be working Ottawas first tattoo expo. October 23-25 come support and enter your work.

February 10 2009:
A fair amount has been going on. We have closed our Niagara Location for the season. Carrie has left us to go in a different direction. And we are now open 7 days a week at our St. Catharines store. With two artists working each day. So come see us and get tattooed. As well we are planning a Fund Raiser some time in the next month to help with the events in the last few months. We will be posting more info on that soon.

Just wanted to let everyone know we will be tattoo and piercing at this years Toronto Tattoo Convention. Come by and support us. Stay the weekend and check out all the events.

Well this year is coming to an end. We would like to than everyone who has still supported us. We have passed our 3 year anniversary. And are still going strong. Now with the holidays we would like to remind everyone that we offer Gift Certificates. As well we have different winter specials going on at both locations. Contact for more info. August 15 2008:

We are now offering lower pricing on our dermal anchors and flat surface bars. Even though we are still the only shop around to offer these we felt it wasn’t fair to charge the same when we were given a price break. Message us to find out the new prices of these items. As well we will be offering back to school piercing specials starting this week until end of Sept. So come in for some sweet deals

Finally back in control of our new site. So it has been awhile since we have made a post. Well we have 3 tattoo artists working here now.
