We wanted to start off by saying thank you to all of our clients for another amazing and busy summer. As we enter fall the students are back and we continue to stay busy. Keep that in mind when wanting to book appointments. The artists are booking a couple weeks to a couple months in advance so take that into mind when coming to book with them. We still leave Wednesdays open for walk in tattoos and as always it is a first come first serve basis.
Over the next few months there are some tattoo conventions we plan on attending and some guest spots the artists will be taking as well. Please check our social media pages for this information. Shop link is on our home page and each artist has a link on their page as well.
Take note that Gord is no longer working Saturdays, but is taking a few appointments if possible. So do call or email in advance to see what he has available. We are hoping to bring another piercer on at some point to help with the over flow and allow more travel for Gord, but as always we will not just hire anyone we need the right fit and will not let our clients down.
Elise has decided to move to Ottawa. You can find her at New Moon Tattoo. We wish her the best of luck. She will be returning to Niagara for guest spots and if you would like to be put on a list for when she is down please email our studio. Thank you Elise for all your hard work over the years
Starting June 1st Jason Mcmillan will be joining our crew full time. Check out his portfolio page for a sample of his work. There is also a link to his instagram page for more up to date portfolio. Welcome aboard sir
As the weather gets warmer we get busier. If you’re looking to have a new tattoo healed by Summer we would suggest you come in soon and book. As well piercings take months to heal and if you like to swim the sooner the better for those. For the most up to date information on Golden Horseshoe Tattoo you should follow the shop on Instagram Golden Horseshoe Tattoo
Massive thank you to all of you. Thank you for your continued support of our studio. We could not do it without all of you. This has been a great year. Darryl has taken on many large project, Elise is killing it and Gord is expanding our jewelry selection all the time. As well a special thank you to our counter help. They run the show and without them we would be lost. We are looking forward to 2017 with some new things coming along. See you all in 2017
Our anniversary raffle is ending this week so come get your tickets before it is too late. All proceeds are being donated to http://www.communitycarestca.ca/ we are also accepting donations for clothing and food which will also be donated to Community Care.
This month marks the 11th anniversary of Golden Horseshoe Tattoo. We have a tradition of doing a special or sale to mark this date. This year though we are going to do something different. We are going to have a raffle to win 2 $300 dollar tattoos as well as 1 $150 dollar piercing. Tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20. All proceeds will go to community care. We will also have donation barrels here to accept food and clothing for community care. The draw will take place December 15th
What an awesome month this was for guest artists. Thank you Conrad, Josh and Alex. It was a pleasure to have all of you here. We are looking forward to next time you are back and so are our clients. For those of you who wanted in and could not make it work this time there will be another chance. As always we will post the dates of our guest artists with a link to their portfolios on our instagram Golden Horseshoe Tattoo
We have been doing our Walk In Wednesdays for a few years now and they are a huge success. As a result we are booking up those days typically within the first couple of hours. Do not fear. We have two solutions for that. Sour Jon from Trophy Tattoo in Hamilton is coming down when he can to help out. Check out his instagram page here https://www.instagram.com/sour_jon/. We have made a habit of booking a maximum of two appointments per artist per day. Which means if there is time in between we will try and tattoo you. The best thing to do is always come down to the shop and speak with us. Walk Ins are first come first serve. Do not wait on it. Just come in. Hope to see you all soon.
Starting this week we will be asking clients who wish to make appointments for piercing to put a deposit down. We will set up a PayPal and etransfer to make this easier for everyone. The deposit will be our piercing fee of $40 and will have the same rules as our tattoo deposits.
That being said we want you to know this is not the only way to get pierced. We will gladly still accept walk in piercings. We just do not want to turn people away for appointments that do not show up. If you have questions please call the studio
